SALES TAX EXEMPTION

According to Canadian tax laws, adaptive clothing is considered to be a medical device and is qualified for a tax exemption with a doctor’s prescription. For more information, please see point 52 in this Canada Revenue Agency memorandum - Medical and Assistive Devices.

Therefore, as a Canadian resident, you can be exempt from paying the sales tax when buying adaptive clothing if you have a prescription from your doctor. In order to benefit from this exemption, you must follow these steps:
  1. If you don't already have one, create a customer account.
  2. Download and print our prescription form.
  3. Complete the form and send us a copy:

Ovidis Adaptive Wear, 4085, boul. Le Corbusier, Laval, Quebec, H7L 5E2

    (450) 736-7363

    info@ovidis.com

  4. Once your prescription is received and your customer account is open, you will save the sales tax on all your future orders.
